13 dead after massive home fire in Fairmount, Philadelphia: Sources

PHILADELPHIA – Thirteen people have died after a massive house fire broke out in Philadelphia early Wednesday morning, sources told our sister station WPVI. At least two people were injured.
Fire officials and police said firefighters and police responded to a fire at a three-story restaurant house in the city’s Fairmount neighborhood around 6:40 a.m. and discovered flames coming from the door. second floor window. Police said the house had been converted into two apartments.
The fire was brought under control in less than an hour, but officials were still on the scene as of 9:30 a.m
There was no immediate information on the cause of this fire.
