1 person killed in canal accident in Immokalee
IMMOKALEE
The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed to WINK News that one person was killed after plunging into the canal.
This happened around 10:15 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of SR-29 and Farm Worker Way in Immokalee.
According to the FHP, this was a collision with a vehicle and the driver plunged into a canal.
One person died as a result of this wreck.
