1 person injured in officer-involved shooting in Larimer . County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) – One person was injured Monday in an officer’s I-25 shooting.

The sheriff’s office did not release much information but said a critical incident response team would be investigating. CIRT teams are often called in when an officer fires their gun.

The shooting occurred between exit 268, Prospect Road and exit 278, CO-1. Southbound traffic is redirected from Mountain Vista Drive to Timberline Road to CO-14. The northbound lanes were temporarily closed but have since reopened.
