1 dead, 3 injured after shooting at Clinton party

CLINTON, NC (WNCN) — One person was killed and three others injured after a shooting at a private party in Clinton, according to deputies.

MPs said this happened just before 3am on Sunday in Block 100 of Veteran’s Lane.

Officials said one victim is in intensive care and the other two victims were being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Around 200 people were at the party, and MPs said the party had private security guards.

MPs said most attendees fled the party and there is no suspicious information at this time.

Officials have not yet released the names of the victims.
