Yule Trooper is back for the festive season

FORTNITE players can take part in the trials ahead of this season’s finale, but that hasn’t stopped the carnival cheers with the return of Christmas costumes to the Item Shop.
Epic game shared the first holiday themed skin and is none other than Yule Trooper.
Rare Fortnite skins first launched in 2019 and has been back every December ever since.
So, if you’ve missed the last two years, now’s your chance to get your hands on the costume.
The Yule Trooper isn’t the only seasonal addition to the Item Shop – a pickaxe and a wrap are also available on the storefront.
- Yule Trooper Skin – 1,500 V-Bucks
- Basher Pickaxe Branch – 1,200 V-Bucks
- Ho Ho Ho wrapped – 300 V-Bucks
If you want the whole set, you’ll need to split out 2,000 V-Bucks, so unless you have money left over in your account, you can choose between two V-Bucks.
There’s a pack of 2,800 V-Bucks for £15.99 / $19.99 that will get you a little more to play with..
Or you can buy two packs of 1,000 V-Bucks for £6.49 / $7.99 one-off.
Given that the first pack weighs just a few pounds more, and you’ll be left with 800 V-Bucks for arbitrary consumption, I’d recommend that.
Meanwhile, Fortnite players are preparing The End live event this weekend.
The event will end Chapter 2 Season 8 and begin Chapter 3 with another black hole and an overturned island.
