Your Garden Made Perfect fans are all saying the same thing about the so-called kid-friendly garden

YOUR Garden Made Perfect fans were scratching their heads after a couple were presented with what they call a kid-friendly garden – complete with a giant pond.

Rachael and Tom, both 28, appeared on the BBC Two show to makeover their ramshackle ‘stumbling block’ backyard.

The engaged couple had to spend £25,000 to refurbish their garden and asked for something family friendly as they want to have children.

They described their home as their “home forever” and said they hoped the outdoor space would be enjoyed by “generations to come.”

But viewers of the show were left stunned after veteran gardener Tom Massey designed them a “forest-style” garden with a huge pond.

It even had “a toe-dipping jetty”.

You could slip in and get wet feet.

But Tom told them, ‘You have these little paths that lead you through the planting. They’re fun little trails that maybe kids could explore.”

And as for the pond, he added: “You might slip in and get your feet wet.

Taking to Twitter, Your Garden Made Perfect, hosted by Angela Scanlon, shared her horror at the “dangerous” addition to the plans.

One tweeted: “So no worries about future kids falling in the water? #YourGardenMadePerfect.”

Another added: “#YourGardenMadePerfect I just can’t understand why the designer doesn’t realize how dangerous this pond would be for his kids.”

A third wrote: “Oof, huge pond for her future brood to roam around in and walk right into 👍🏻 #YourGardenMadePerfect.”

A puzzled fourth viewer asked, “Mmm, where are the swings, trampolines, kids toys, etc going to go in the future, don’t worry, they have a pond!

“Did he listen to the letter? Kids get #YourGardenMadePerfect.”

Another design was also shown to Rachael and Tom from Manchester which included a shipping container come garden room.

But bizarrely, the couple went with designer Tom’s plans with the pond and jetty.

One fan raged: “Of course they picked the one with a potential death pool, a pond is not kid friendly!!! gah T***s. #YourGardenMadePerfect.”
