WWE’s The Miz claims Logan Paul “exceeded” training expectations for WrestleMania 38.

Logan Paul could have a bright future as a sports entertainer with WWE as his WrestleMania 38 tag team partner. The Miz claims training is going far better than expected.
After a handful from screen appearances in 2021 is Paul officially discontinued to make his in-ring wrestling debut on the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania 38. With WWE star The Miz in his corner, the two are booked for a match against Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik.
While some might think he’d storm into AT&T Stadium on March 2nd without much thought, the social media star seems to be putting the work and training into his debut well.
A new behind-the-scenes video uploaded to WWE Socials shows Paul preparing at the Orlando Performance Center, where many of the company’s top stars also trained. In just a few short weeks, not only has it “exceeded” expectations, according to The Miz, but it could also be gearing up for a longer-than-expected run.

“Logan Paul’s workout was one of the easiest celebrity workouts I’ve ever done,” said WWE Legend Shane “The Hurricane” Helms. From Bad Bunny to Floyd Mayweather, many mainstream stars have stepped into the square circle for one-off spectacles, but Paul already seems to be doing it all given his “natural” abilities.
“Natural athlete, natural charisma, natural personality,” added Helms. “It’s just feeding him some information and he processes it. It was super easy.”
“[For] Logan Paul, I had a bar set,” his future tag partner explained to The Miz. “He exceeded the bar at every step. This kid is on another level.”
Early footage showed Paul training for a fairly acrobatic style. One sequence in particular, even a possible top rope maneuver, was to be expected on the night.
Claiming that professional wrestling is a “very tough sport,” it wasn’t an easy road for Paul during his preparations. “Every day is harder than the last,” he said.
“There is always more to learn. You come in, your muscles are tired, your muscles are sore, then you have to do it again the next day.”
Though the effort already seems to be paying off, as both The Miz and Helms have claimed there is a “great future” for Paul in WWE. One he certainly seems open for after his WrestleMania debut.
“I don’t think Logan is done after Mania. If you wanted to do this full-time, you could do it,” said The Miz. “No doubt. I’ve never seen a person faster at getting things. Ever.”
