But this time the wrestling giants announced that their latest decision is based on the “continued evolution” of NXT.

Based on Fight, Regal, Road Dogg, Timothy Thatcher, Danny Burch, Hideki Suzuki, Cathy Corino, Dave Kapoor (also known as Ranjin Singh), Scott Armstrong, George Carroll and Ryan Katz have been dropped from the wrestling giants.

WWE released the following statement: “With the continued development of NXT 2.0, we have decided to part ways with some of the employees based at our Performance Center.

“We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them all the best.”

Regal and Road Dogg are the biggest names on that list as they are also famous wrestlers.

The legendary duo was part of NXT’s huge success and contributed to the creation of many superstars, such as Becky Lynch.

Lynch pays homage to British legend Regal, who has served as a mentor, coach and General Manager of NXT online, and insists she will be “forever grateful”.

RAW Women’s Champion tweeted: “So grateful that Regal gave me a chance when I was nothing. I owe him so much.”

Regal has been a part of WWE since 2000 and shares the ring with some of the greatest players of all time, like Ric Flair, Triple H, Chris Jericho and many more.

The 53-year-old took on the NXT mission in 2014, where he became a prominent figure.

WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg, on the other hand, joined the company in 1994 and quickly teamed up with Billy Gunn to form the New Age Outlaws before the two joined the legendary D-Generation X stables.

The former Intercontinental Champion left in 2001 and returned 10 years later to reunite with Gunn and become a writer and producer in 2014.
