Woman, 53, charged with murder after man found stabbed to death at home

A WOMAN has been charged with murder after a man was found stabbed – sparking a police investigation.
Victim Glenn Richards, 61, was found with fatal injuries after police were called to an address on Chilkwell Street, Glastonbury. SomersetOn Monday.
The emergency services arrived just before midnight and immediately began administering first aid, but he died at the scene.
Dawn Lewis, 53, was also at the property and suffered stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment.
She was then arrested – and now charged with Richards’ murder.
Lewis remains in police custody and will appear in Yeovil Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

An autopsy determined the victim’s preliminary cause of death to be multiple stab wounds.
His next of kin have been informed, police confirmed.
Chief Inspector Andrew Pritchard said: “We are aware that continued police activity in the area may raise alarms and I would like to reassure community neighborhood officers that they will remain in the area should anyone wish to raise a concern with them.
“A thorough investigation is being conducted and although we have reduced the cordon we anticipate it may be a few more days before we have completed all of our investigations.”
