Winter Weather Advisory in effect until tomorrow – CBS Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) –Today and tomorrow are Warning Days due to the risk of snow and wind.

There is a Winter Weather Notice for the I-95 Corridor including the Baltimore Metro Area.

A Winter Storm Warning is also in effect for places east of the bay, where 4-9 inches of snow is expected. The bottom half of the East Coast can grow from 9 to 12 inches.

Snowstorm Warning in effect for Worcester County from 7:00 p.m. tonight to 7:00 p.m. Saturday.

That area will see 8-12 inches of snow and gusts of up to 50 MPH.

Travel will be difficult as the Nor’Easter sails off the coast of Maryland.

Slippery roads may occur and visibility will be reduced due to blowing snow.

There is also the possibility of downed power lines and tree branches due to strong winds.
