William Byron, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are worth Pennzoil 400

The NASCAR circuit moves to Las Vegas this weekend and The Action Network’s Nick Giffen is here to do his best.
Starting with the driver with the best odds, Giffen has identified William Byron, who is a consistent 11-1 pick on the odds board.
“Last year, [Byron] had the second-best running position on all 1.5-mile ovals,” explains Giffen.
Given that Las Vegas Motor Speedway fits the bill, Giffen said he believes Byron’s implied probability of winning should be closer to 9.4 percent. With his current odds showing an implied probability of eight percent, Giffen likes to back Byron.
As for his favorite longshot, Giffen is targeting Ricky Stenhouse Jr., a rider that bettors can find at around 50-1.
“Las Vegas Motor Speedway is one of his best tracks,” says Giffen. “He’s had two top six finishes in his last six races.”

But as for his pick to win the race, Giffen has picked Kyle Larson, who is looking to win his second race in as many weeks.
“Personally, I won’t bet on him because his chances are within error, but he’s definitely the driver to beat,” said Giffen.
