Wig protects woman from shotgun shots in Brooklyn: police officers

A woman’s wig protected her from a hail of bullets fired at her by a gunman in Brooklyn over the weekend, police officers said.

The 21-year-old victim was standing at the corner of Ross Street and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg around 7:20 p.m. Saturday when a dark-colored sedan pulled up, authorities said.

Someone in the car rolled down the rear window and fired an air gun in her direction, hitting her wig, police said.
