Why Monet X Change sold most of their RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 and All-Stars 4 runway looks

With several appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Monét X Change decided she just had too much drag in her closet. Here’s why the All Stars 7 Competitor decided to sell some of her iconic looks to fans.

After the competition continue RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 and snagged the Miss Congeniality crown, which Monét X Change returned for All Stars 4. She and Trinity the Tuck won the crown and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.
During an episode of Sibling Rivalry, Bob the Drag Queen appeared in one of Monet X Change’s jackets. After Monét asked X Change for a thank you, Bob the Drag Queen said she was shocked that her friend had sold so many iconic outfits.
“I say that out loud and now Monét can’t say I didn’t say that: if you have any pieces of a historical one Drag Race moment [that’s just] If you clutter up your space, I’ll buy them off you. Instead of selling them to strangers, I’m going to buy them,” Bob the drag queen told her podcast co-host.
“You know, maybe one day I’ll regret selling some of this stuff, but I’ll say it’s very sweet to see people tag me on TikToks and be like, ‘Oh my god I got this pink outfit…’” added Monét. “It’s nice to see people wearing them.”

Monét X Change said their “drag multiplies”
Monét X Change swoops back to the Werk Room for the all-winner season of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the artist commented on the sale of several well-known Drag Race looks.
“It was so hard to decide what to sell and what to keep because Drag Race is of course something very special for me,” said Monét X Change. “It’s a big part of my life. One day I’ll look back to 2047 and I know I’ll wish I had the Plastic Fantastic look or the Kim K look, but it was about time.”
“Drag just multiplies. The more shit you get, the more drag starts consuming every part of your house and I think I need to ditch that and give it to some fans to live with,” she continued. “But I kept both entrance looks – Season 10 and All Stars 4and i also kept both promo looks, season 10 and All Stars 4, and I also kept my final looks. No, I didn’t have that, I sold that too.”
Other ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ contestants sold their wares to fans
Monét X Change wouldn’t be the only drag performer to sell them Drag Race memorabilia on the internet. That All Stars 3 The winner, Trixie Mattel, posted some of her looks on eBay, with most items receiving multiple bids from fans.
