Who is Rebekah Neumann?

Rebekah Neumann, 44, born February 26, 1978, is an American businesswoman.

Known as Adam’s wife, she was the former CEO of WeGrow, WeWork’s education program.

Before entering the business world, Rebekah earned a degree from Cornell University.

Outside of business, she is known as the cousin of Marvel actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

Where is she now?

While Adam wasn’t the first to come up with the idea of shared workspaces, he was the first to turn it into a business and turn it into a profit, Time reports.

The couple reportedly managed to expand WeWork from an office in Manhattan to more than 111 cities in 29 counties.

“WeWork works to create a world where people make a living, not just a living,” Adam told Time in 2017.

Despite WeWork’s success, Adam and Rebekah were known for their partying lifestyles, and it was ultimately “reckless spending, a tough partying lifestyle, and questionable business decisions” that led to their downfall, adds Time.

In 2018, the company reportedly lost $2 billion and shareholders agreed that Adam wasn’t the best face for the company, according to Esquire.

That same year, Adam was also reportedly caught smoking weed on a plane flying out of Israel, which contributed to the shareholders’ decision, Esquire notes.

Since the scandal broke, the Neumanns have stayed out of the limelight, but are often featured in documentaries.

As of March 2022, Rebekah still lives in family ownership in the Hamptons and is working on the reboot of WeGrow, according to Esquire.

She is also becoming more environmentally conscious and responsive The Financial Times “has begun buying forests near the equator in hopes of keeping the valuable carbon sinks from being logged,” in a new venture called Flow Carbon.

Like his wife, Adam has been busy since stepping down as CEO of WeWork.

As of March 2022, he’s the owner of nearly 4,000 affordable homes around the world that are reportedly worth $1 billion, Esquire adds.

He is also said to have a net worth of between $1.6 billion and $2.3 billion.
