White Xbox Series X console spotted in Logitech Astro A30 headset ad

That Xbox Series X console was only available in black, apart from limited versions available for a short time or through winning contests, but that could change soon. An ad for the upcoming Logitech Astro A30 headset had a white Xbox Series X console in the background and now gamers are hoping that’s a sign of things to come.

Will Microsoft release a white Xbox Series X console?

The white version of the console appeared alongside the PS5 in a new ad for the upcoming Logitech Astro A30 headset. While the model certainly looked pretty convincing, some believe it was simply a standard console, cloaked in a white skin to match the promotional aesthetic. Alternatively, it could just be a bespoke prop created for the ad that also included an all-black Xbox Series X|S controller with faceless buttons, an effect that even Xbox Design Lab can’t achieve. A close-up of the controller seems to indicate it was spray-painted, leading theories to believe the console was just a prop, too. Microsoft hasn’t announced a white Xbox Series X console and hasn’t responded to inquiries about plans to launch one in the future.

Meanwhile, the real subject of the ad, the Logitech Astro A30 gaming headset, is slated to launch next month for $229.99. The headset comes in matte navy blue or matte white, has customizable speaker tags, and works with multiple devices, including the ability to stream audio from three sources simultaneously.

In other news, a release window for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC has been unveiled. Elsewhere, Steam Deck production has increased globally, but Canada has been hit with a slight snag.
