When will Seiya Suzuki be added to MLB The Show 22?

MLB The Show 22 players, along with Chicago Cubs fans, have been wondering when their new star player Seiya Suzuki, as well as the popular Diamond Dynasty mode, will be added to the game.

Like every baseball sim iteration, MLB The Show features 22 player updated and accurate rosters for the new baseball season.

Although The Show 22 features a realistic recreation of almost every single MLB and minor league player, one player is currently missing; and fans are excited to see him.

The Chicago Cubs caused a free hand stir when they signed Japanese slugger Seiya Suzuki to a massive $85 million deal, but alas He is not yet available in the game.

He was also not added to the Diamond Dynasty mode. Don’t worry though, as there’s a good chance he’ll show up in the game soon enough.

Typically, new players must play at least five innings to be added to the game. With Suzuki making his debut for Chicago on April 7th, it shouldn’t be long before he’s added to The Show 22.

MLB The Show 22 was released on April 5th.

If you don’t want to wait until you can play the Cubs with an accurate roster, you can download a custom roster online as countless players have already included it in the game.

To download a custom roster, follow these steps:

  1. From the main menu, go to the top right and select Create
  2. Choose vault
  3. Push rosterthen Sort by Downloads
  4. Select a live list among the top options

Now that you’ve downloaded a custom list, you can load it into The Show 22 from the Settings tab in the Start menu.

Hopefully San Diego Studio is working on a patch to bring Suzuki to both the base game and Diamond Dynasty soon enough.
