The first wave of NFL free agency has come and gone. Still, the feasibility of keeping James Bradberry and Saquon Barkley on the Giants roster remains worth considering.

Both players are entering the final years of their contracts. Cornerback is generally considered to be a much more difficult position to fill than running back. Which player better improves the Giants rebuild? Are any of these players in the team’s plans for 2023?

Bradberry’s $21.8 million cap cost for a team that no one outside the building expects can fight for a playoff spot can be seen as wildly exorbitant. To a lesser extent, the same is true for Barkley and his $7.2 million cap.
