What we know so far about Ivana Trump’s death

Ivana Trump was found dead at the bottom of a flight of stairs at her Upper East Side townhouse on Thursday – and police are investigating whether she fell down the stairs before her death, sources said.

Authorities also believe Trump, former President Donald Trump’s ex-wife, suffered a cardiac arrest, but her official cause of death is being determined by a coroner.

Building workers discovered the body of the 73-year-old around 12:40 p.m. and then called the police, sources said.

Ivana Trump was scheduled to leave New York for St. Tropez, France on Friday, in what would have been her first trip since the COVID-19 pandemic, her best friend told Page Six.

“She was afraid of catching the virus,” said a distraught Nikki Haskel.

A source told the Post that Ivana Trump’s “health has been declining in recent years,” but it was unclear if she had been suffering from a specific medical condition.

The Czech-American skier-turned-model-turned-businesswoman married the former president in 1977 and is the mother of his first three children; Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.

She has held many roles in Trump family businesses throughout her life.
