Who is Brittany Murphy’s husband?

Simon Monjack is an English screenwriter, film director and film producer.

He married Simone Bienne in 2001, but they divorced in 2006.

He was married to his second wife, Brittany Murphy, from 2007 until her death on December 20, 2009, at the age of 32.

He was found dead just five months later on May 23, 2010, in his Hollywood home, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

The coroner’s report found his cause of death was acute pneumonia and severe anemia, similar to what is believed to have caused his wife Brittany to die in the same house.

New HBO documentary claimed he “cheated” on the actress before her sudden death.

Director Cynthia Hill confirmed Brittany was one of Simon’s “ultimate victims”.

She said: “He was a disturbed man who was used to fooling people and Brittany was one of his ultimate victims.

“There’s a pattern of behavior that becomes very clear as we do more research.”

Monjack is said to have had two secret children.

His daughter, Jasmine, was raised in Luton, United Kingdom, by her mother, Marcia Newman.
