What did Donald Trump say in CPAC?

Former President Donald Trump gave an important speech at Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) 2022 on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

Trump addressed several topics during his lengthy speech, including transgender rights and the “Biden crime family.”

While speaking to a lively crowd in Orlando, Florida; Trump called the current government a “corrupt and lawless political establishment.”

He vowed to return in 2024 “to confront this radical and powerful ruling class and defeat them.”

Trump also announced that he would ban important racial theory from “any organization that accepts a dime from the government.”

The former US president announced he and his followers will “end Nancy Pelosi’s political career once and for all.”

He went on to say that Mark Zuckerberg – the creator of Facebook – used to “come to the White House and kiss me.”

The crowd quickly alternated between cheers, chanting “USA!” And boos.

“Without fake news, you don’t have a scandal,” Trump continued, referring to the “fraud” and “corruption” he claimed happened during the 2020 Presidential Election.

“We’re going to finish the wall very quickly,” he added, referring to his attempted border wall.

When it comes to cancel culture, Trump calls it “desperation.”

“My fellow Americans, this country does not belong to the Radicals… it belongs to you,” he continued.

He continued: “So to all who think they can coerce and subdue the citizens of this land, hear these words from me tonight: the people of America will not surrender to the border. our world, we won’t surrender to our culture, we won’t surrender to our beliefs, we won’t surrender to our values, we won’t surrender to our history, we I will not surrender our freedom; and above all, we will not surrender our children.”

“We will make America great again,” Trump concluded.

He stepped off the stage to Hold On! I’m Comin’ by Sam & Dave.

CPAC was first introduced in 1974 and is considered the largest and most influential gathering of Conservatives in the world.

The conference brings thousands of activists together every year to listen to panel discussions and talk about politics.
