PARENTS have been warned by police to protect their children from videos of terrifying Huggy Wuggy.
What are the Huggy Wuggy videos?
Huggy Wuggy was the villain in a 2021 video game called Poppy Playtime.
Also known as Experiment-1006, the character has razor-sharp teeth and stands approximately 10 feet tall.
Videos of this vicious bear have surfaced on YouTube and TikTok, with Huggy telling the viewer to “take his last breath”.
The creepy blue bear sings, “I could hug you here forever until you breathe your last together.”
Since the game isn’t rated on YouTube or Roblox, kids of all ages can see this jump scare creature.
What did the police say about Huggy Wuggy videos?
Police have warned that children are whispering Huggy’s words to each other and acting out the violence seen in the game.
They pointed out that watching Huggy Wuggy videos is not appropriate for children.
Dorset Police Cyber Protection Officer Chris Conroy said: “There are videos that people have made, songs that people have made and it’s popping up all over YouTube and TikTok, with these fairly graphic images of this bear-like character featuring razor-sharp teeth.
“It’s based on jump scares and things that kids are certainly not supposed to be exposed to.”
How can I stop my child from watching Huggy Wuggy videos?
Because the videos aren’t captured by age-rating blocks, it can be difficult to ensure your child watches them.
Be vigilant and if you see a video featuring Huggy Wuggy, block the channel or user if possible.
