WEATHER COLOR: Sunny, 60 degrees Tuesday; Next storm system in 8 days

DENVER (KDVR) – We forecast sunny skies over Denver for Tuesday with a peak of around 60 degrees. We hit 72 degrees on Monday. The current normal high is 47 degrees. So every day we are running 10-25 degrees above normal.

The mountains will be dry and sunny Tuesday with highs in the 50s.

It will be unusually warm Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures peaking around 70 degrees in Denver. The record high on Wednesday was 73 degrees and on Thursday it was 74 degrees.

It will be warm and dry through Sunday with temperatures peaking around 60 degrees.

The next storm system arrives on/about December 7th. The storm system will have to break through a large dome of high pressure, so there is no guarantee that the storms will persist together.
