AJAX technical boss admits the Dutch giants know it will be difficult to stop manager Erik Ten Hag from taking over Manchester United.
Gerry Hamstra says Ajax “know how the world works”. Ten witch emerged as the favorite to become Old Trafford boss in summer.
Hamstra insists the Dutchman is focused on his current job.
“He’s still under contract at Ajax, but we all know how the world works.
“Erik is a professional and is self-focused on this season, the important months when awards are given out.

“The future will tell but it is clear that Erik is very important for Ajax.”
Ten Hag was reportedly interviewed by United because they are looking for a permanent replacement for interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
And SunSport revealed last week how the 52-year-old has tightened his grip on pole position.
Dossiers for all candidates were created and evaluated.
And the former reserve coach from Bayern Munich easily prevailed – in front PSG’s former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino.
But he now appears to be at the bottom of the list as the Red Devils fear the turmoil surrounding the Blues’ takeover bids could continue well into the summer.
