We Are One Music and Arts Festival with Lil’ Wayne and Grimes has to be postponed

HOUSTON, Texas – A promising spring music and arts festival will not take place until the fall, organizers said. We Are One Music & Arts Festival, a multi-genre arts/music weekend show scheduled for May 14th and 15th at Eleanor Tinsley Park near downtown, is now scheduled for November 12th and 13th planned.
The festival’s president pushed back the date to “ensure all attendees have the best possible experience,” according to a press release.
Festival headliners included Lil’ Wayne (and his $150,000 Tooth), Lupe Fiasco, Illenium, Grimes, Japanese Breakfast, CL, Poppy and Duck Sauce. Scheduled performances included Latino dance folk, live murals, and a dollhouse drag brunch. Lil’ Wayne even posted about the festival on Instagram.
