SHEFFIELD UNITED striker Oli McBurnie has turned his back on Middlesbrough fans by celebrating in front of them after they mocked him for having his watches stolen.

And in the second half, when McBurnie came off the bench to warm up on the sidelines, the visiting fans saw an opportunity to taunt him.

They began to sing: “He has no watch and is sitting on the bench.”

And McBurnie, who had been seconds earlier at the end of some rousing chants from the Boro fans, turned and celebrated in front of those who had just handed him the stick.

Sheffield United finished the game 4-1, moving up to fifth place championship Play-off places for the first time this season.

Sander Berge and Billy Sharp scored twice in three minutes midway through the first half before Jack Robinson made it 3-0 just before the hour mark.
