Warzone players were blinded by a completely “broken” 3 Line Rifle scope due to a certain floor loot blueprint randomly increasing its brightness.
The Warzone community has had to contend with a slew of groundbreaking issues since the last update. Of weapons it does not work as originally intended for operator skins make the game harderit’s been an uphill battle these past few weeks.
While certain issues might be resolved in the coming period Reloaded patch for season 2, the list of problems seems to get longer every day. Amusingly enough, the most glaring bug of them all has literally just surfaced.
Players must now deal with floor loot that attacks their retinas. A specific 3 line rifle blueprint should be avoided at all costs unless you happen to be playing with your sunglasses.
The ‘Krewe Leader’ sniper rifle blueprint in Warzone comes equipped with a 1913 Variable 4-8x optic. While everything looks fine on the surface, it’s that unique scope that’s causing headaches across Caldera.
If you pick up this weapon and try to capture it, the game’s brightness will change randomly. Even indoors, the screen heats up and it’s nearly impossible to deal with glare.
“I feel like I’m getting a flash while staring at the sun,” joked one player after noticing the issue during a recent session. Despite its rarity, the blueprint seemed to make her run more of a challenge than anything else.
There is currently no way to resolve the issue in-game. Your only option is to leave this sniper rifle on the ground until a future hotfix is deployed.
As it stands, the Warzone developers are not yet in the case for this particular bug, according to this official Trello board. Therefore, it is unclear when exactly this visual issue will be permanently removed from the game.
We will definitely keep you updated if a temporary solution is found in the coming days. In the meantime, it’s best to just avoid the Krewe Leader Blueprint when you come across it in Warzone.
