Walt Disney World Resorts requires masks for fully vaccinated guests

CNN – Face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests indoors and outdoors at The Walt Disney World Resorts starting February 17.

All guests two years of age and older will still be required to wear a face covering when traveling on enclosed transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner.

Disney’s change follows Florida’s Universal Orlando, which recently removed indoor and outdoor face coverings for fully vaccinated guests.

Universal Orlando said in a statement to CNN, unvaccinated guests are required to wear face coverings indoors.

Universal Orlando said it had updated its policy based on “local conditions and trends”.
