Video shows a KO punch that killed the 61-year-old man in NYC

A shocking new video shows the KO blow that killed a 61-year-old man outside his Brooklyn home late last month.

Victor Vega, 61, was walking on Lexington Avenue near Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 8:30 p.m. on May 25 – along with two men – when the fatal attack took place, authorities said.

The men appeared to be chatting before the victim put his hand on the back of one of the two, who was wearing a black hoodie and white face mask, according to video released by the NYPD late Wednesday.

That man turned, punched Vega in the face and knocked him down in front of his home in a single punch, footage shows.

Vega landed on her back — half on the sidewalk and half on the street — with her head under a parked car.

At approximately 8:26 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, police responded to a 911 call from a treated, unconscious man outside of 257 Lexington Avenue within the boundaries of Prefecture 79. Upon arrival, officers observed a 61- year-old man lying on the floor with trauma to his head. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County where she was pronounced deceased on Monday, May 30, 2022. The coroner ruled the incident a homicide. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
