Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 officially launched on February 14

Call of Duty’s Ranked Betas for Vanguard and Warzone Pacific will launch on February 14 with a limited time double XP score to celebrate the launch of Season Two. New points of interest in Caldera, Nebula V ammo, several new game modes, and a host of bug fixes are planned for the upcoming season. With Season One facing a lot of criticism due to game breaking issues, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software are working to address community complaints in an upcoming update.

What’s New in COD Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 2?

Caldera Clash and Rebirth Reinforced are two notable game modes in the upcoming season. Call of Duty (COD) is also getting a brand new ammo called the “Nebula V”. They will be available in small quantities throughout Caldera. Balance changes are also expected in an upcoming update but the developers have yet to finalize the weapon adjustments for Season Two.

Bullet and Bomb Nebula

Nebula V Ammo takes up only a single bullet, but increases damage significantly. One of the rarest items in next season’s Warzone will be the Nebula V Bomb. It was a locked briefcase filled with deadly gas with an explosive. Once activated and placed in front of the Operator, it explodes after a fixed countdown and cannot be disarmed or destroyed.

Caldera Clash

Caldera Clash allows Operators to engage with their custom Loaders, which can feature any weapon from Modern Warfare to Vanguard and Field Upgrades. Each time they kill their team one point. The first team to reach the target score or the team with the most points at the end of the time limit wins the game.

Rebirth Iron Trials

Developed by Beenox based on Raven Software’s Iron Trials ’84, Rebirth Iron Trials is a Battle Royale variant designed specifically for highly competitive players. Time to kill (TTK) for all weapons will be adjusted and the developers are marketing it as a heavy battle royale mode. The mode won’t be available at launch, and the developers have promised more information on how the game mode will work in the coming weeks.

In addition to the new content, there will also be map updates, new season passes, balance changes, and more.

When will Call of Duty Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season Two go live?

Players will be able to download the new update for Vanguard at 9am on February 10th, and Warzone will receive the update on February 14th at 9am PT. Season 2 for both games will go live on February 14 at 9 a.m. PT.
