Vanderbilt renews contract with baseball coach Tim Corbin

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Vanderbilt has signed a contract extension with Tim Corbin after his 20th season running the Commodores baseball program. Athletic director Candice Lee announced the deal on Tuesday. The terms of the renewal were not announced by the private university. Corbin has an 802-377-1 record since 2002, leading the Commodores to national championships in 2014 and 2019. Commodores lost in the fourth College World Series final last June. It was their 15th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and tied for the longest streak in Southeast Conference history. Collegiate Baseball ranked Commodores 2nd in the 2022 pre-season poll released Monday.
