Vancouver ski resort locked down after filming

A popular ski town outside of Vancouver, Canada, went into lockdown on Sunday following reports of an active shooter in the area.

Multiple gunshots were heard near the city’s popular gondola ski lift, Vancouver CityNews reported. Whistler Blackcomb Operations announced on Twitter that the nacelle had been put on “standby”.

At least one hotel in the area — the Pan Pacific — is on lockdown, the Squamish reporter said.
