Valorant players are suggesting Riot make a simple change to balance Jett

Valorant players have suggested that Riot do a simple buff to KAY/O’s Ultimate that balances Jett a bit more.

Ever since Valorant launched in June 2020, fans have not been shy about suggesting changes to the developers. Community contributions and votes on new skin releases for a long-awaited replay system to be added to the game are recent examples of community suggestions.

Now players want Riot to consider a simple buff to KAY/O’s ultimate that would slightly balance Jett.

KAY/O hasn’t received much love since joining the Valorant roster.

In a March 5 Reddit thread, Valorant player “MrGrolos” suggested that KAY/O’s ultimate – which prevents other agents from using her abilities – should also prevent Jett from using her passive, which allows her to , to slide if she holds the spacebar.

“KAY/O disables all kinds of abilities, even Jett’s Ultimate, Raze Ultimate, etc. Why not Jett’s Passive,” said the fan is super dashing.”

Commenters on the thread were baffled that Jett’s passive wasn’t already being suppressed by KAY/O’s ult: “Wait, isn’t it? Then it probably should be, Jett’s passive is pretty strong.” said one.

Another added: “Jett Passive should just be tied to an ability like her Updraft. I don’t know why Jett is the only operator who has a passive that not only is undoubtedly one of the most powerful, but also doesn’t require spending any resources to use it.”

Considering KAY/O’s poor selection rate of 10.9%, it’s clear that updates to the agent are long overdue. Adding that Jett is still in a very strong position in Valorant, we could also see that her kit has been tweaked a bit more.

With Riot developers dedicating the entirety of Valorant Episode 4 Act 2 to the opportunity to further build on the game’s “buff foundation,” we could definitely see some more agent changes. Valorant players are suggesting Riot make a simple change to balance Jett
