A Utah man allegedly high on meth and driving up to 100 miles per hour Monday night ran a stop sign and crashed into a row of horse stables where two 3-year-old boys were playing, killing both of them instantly. This was announced by the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses told deputies they saw Barlow driving “recklessly” at up to 100 miles per hour and “snaking into oncoming traffic” at around 7:20 p.m. in Eagle Mountain, a town about 40 miles south of downtown Salt Lake City or drifted into oncoming traffic”.

“The car went off the paved road to the right, smashed a vinyl fence, smashed a five-post steel fence, smashed another section of the same steel picket fence, then crashed through a fence panel and then hit a large block of cement anchored to the ground, thrown into the air and.” then into a lean-to style horse stable that came to a halt upside down,” the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said.

The two 3-year-old boys were playing with toys in an animal enclosure when they were hit by Barlow's vehicle and thrown more than 75 feet.
