US Navy plane crash kills one and injures two off Chincoteague, Virginia

One person was killed and two rescued after a US Navy plane crashed into the Atlantic off Virginia on Wednesday night, a report said.
The Navy E2-D aircraft, based out of Naval Station Norfolk, was conducting a routine exercise when it crashed into the waters off Chincoteague around 7:45 p.m., WAVY reported, citing officials.
The two rescued suffered broken legs, according to WRIC.
The plane’s third occupant was seen buckled for the flight when the plane went underwater, reports said.
The US Coast Guard and other local rescue workers responded to the crash site.
