(Reuters) – The U.S. Congressional Committee investigating the deadly January 6 attack on the Capitol said the removal of Jeffrey Clark, a senior Justice Department official under former President Donald Trump, was postponed due to health conditions.
“Through his attorney, Mr. Clark has informed the Selection Committee of a medical condition that precludes his participation in tomorrow’s meeting and he has provided ample evidence of his claim.” , the Selection Committee said on Friday, adding that it had agreed to postpone the removal until December 16.
