The products are sold in two colors black and a combination of black and pink.

According to the recall notice, the brushes do not have immersion protection, which means there is a risk of electric shock or electric shock if the device falls into water while plugged in.

The brush has a “not waterproof” symbol on the back of the brush to the left of the CE marking.

The products are made in China and sold online from April 2020 to August 2021.

No incidents related to the recall have been reported, but customers are advised to discontinue use of the product immediately.

“Consumers should immediately stop using recalled hot air brushes, dispose of them by unplugging the appliance and then cutting the cord,” reads recall notice from CPSC.

Customers are then required to email a photo of the destroyed product to BrushX to receive a free, upgraded replacement.

BrushX is contacting all buyers directly.

The Sun has reached out to BrushX for comment.
