UK weather forecast: Travel chaos as Met Office issues TONIGHT fog warning before Britain sees ‘wettest January EVER’

The Met Office has issued a WEATHER warning for heavy fog this evening, with drivers reminded to be careful on the road.
The yellow warning – covering large parts of west and east England, the Midlands and all of Wales – is in place from 10pm tonight until midday on Wednesday.
The weather agency said: “Dense patches of fog are likely to cause some disruption to travel overnight and through Wednesday morning.”
Shipping services are likely to be delayed, while there is a possibility of flight delay or cancellation
It comes as bookies now only need 5/2 this month to enter the record books as the wettest January ever.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “There is a good chance this month will break January’s record for all the wrong reasons, with worse weather en route.”
