LONDON (Reuters) – British companies are struggling to find the staff they need and expect higher inflation next year, according to a survey released on Thursday by the Bank of England weighing in. whether to raise interest rates this month or not.
The BoE Decision Board’s monthly survey found that 85% of businesses surveyed find it harder to recruit new employees than usual, with 58% saying it is much harder.
The survey also found that annual price inflation is expected to be 4.2%, up from 3.9% in the October survey.
