FRANK SANCHEZ is rapidly moving up the heavyweight division, with the 29-year-old Cuban currently ranked 6th in the world by the WBC.
And Borao believes Sanchez is the one who will inflict the first defeat against the undefeated Fury, whose record currently stands at 31 wins and a draw.
I said Sports sky: “Frank Sanchez is one of the most active high-performance players right now.
“Frank was a co-main event for Fury vs Wilder III, he’s appeared in Canelo’s pay-per-view matches, and he’s currently co-main event for Charles’ pay-per-view battle. Martin and Luis Ortiz.
“His promotion is phenomenal, as is his undeniable talent. I think Frank Sanchez will beat Tyson Fury today.”
The Gypsy King still hasn’t confirmed his next opponent after the sensation Defeat Deontay Wilder in October.
But he could soon face Sanchez if the 6ft4in ‘Cuba Lightning’ continues on his current trajectory.
Borao went on to say: “At Frank’s current pace, I have no doubt he will be the No. 1 contender shortly.
“The day Frank Sanchez got his chance and fought for a world title was the day he became a heavyweight champion.”
Sanchez returned to the ring with Carlos Negron on New Year’s Day as he worked his way towards a world championship title.
Fury meanwhile is expected to fight again in the spring of next year.
But it was Fury who called AJ stepped aside and let him fight Ukrainian Usyk.
Although recently speaking about his next opponent, Fury said: “I’m not really interested, because honestly it doesn’t make much sense to who I want to fight right now.
“It’s who is available and what means later.”
