Two victims shot dead in broad daylight in New York City attack

Two men were injured in a shooting in broad daylight on the grounds of a building in the Bronx NYCHA on Thursday, police officers said.

The two victims, aged 39 and 34, were in the courtyard of a building inside the Claremont Parkway-Franklin Avenue Houses around 2:20 p.m. when another man shot them, authorities said.

The older man was hit in the stomach and the younger man in the back, police said.

Both victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
