Twitch Unbans Controversial Whirlpool Streamer Eight Months After Account Removal

Twitch has had a wild ride of bans, unbans, warnings, and scams related to the Jacuzzi meta in mid-2021. To add even more confusion to the mix, the streaming giant just reversed an 8-month-old ban on hot tub streamer ExoHydraX.
Attempting to read the minds of Twitch mods is clearly a wasted effort. The company has previously become aware of inconsistencies in the application of its Terms of Use (ToS).
Now, going back to a decision from 8 months ago, Twitch has unbanned ExoHydraX, a streamer and OnlyFans model caught in the midst of the aftermath of the whirlpool meta in mid-2021.
ExoHydraX has had a particularly difficult relationship with the platform, having previously been banned and publicly calling out the company for perceived racism.

In response to those bans, she told Dexerto at the time, “If you’re curvier than the average skinny streamer, you’re considered more sexual, although both streamers could wear and do the same thing.”
The decision is particularly striking because of the special nature of the time frame. The lifting of the ban more than half a year later has certainly raised some eyebrows.
Tweets in response to the announcement accurately captured the general consensus of confusion. “I’ve never seen an 8 month ban,” SecondCITE tweeted.
With her latest ban being challenged and lifted within days, this could potentially be the same, just over a longer period of time.
When asked why she thought she was banned, ExoHydraX said: “I’m not sure, I was off screen for 15 minutes and got banned again. This stream was actually a pretty chilled stream tbh one of my calmest jacuzzi streams.”
No, I no longer go to hot tubs or stream on this channel. You can follow my IG exohydrax4 or @notexohydrax to know my channel’s new name when I announce it. the thot livestream grind / “exohydrax” livestream belongs to the past lol

After announcing that she had been banned from the platform, ExoHydraX was keen to make it clear that she would not be returning to the whirlpool stream scene, calling the “thot livestream grind” a “thing of the past.”
Overall a confusing mix of events, with Twitch proving once again that their lockdown process is unclear at best.
