Twista Returns After ESIC Ban With New Team Featuring Allu as IGL

Last time a Finnish CS:GO team had taken the world by storm was in early 2019, when ENCE had done the impossible by achieving a runners-up finish at the IEM Katowice Major.

Now, another such Finnish roster is being assembled by one of Finland’s most successful coaches, Slaava “Twista” Räsänen, who announced his return to the competitive scene on 1st February following ESIC’s ban for exploiting the ‘Coach Spectator Bug’.

This lineup consists of both young talents and experienced veterans, with Finnish CS:GO legend Aleksi “allu” Jalli acting as the team’s IGL (in-game leader) It will also mark his return to the competitive front after almost nine months away from the game.

Twista and Allu join hands to assemble a new Finnish CS:GO team

To bring a new Finnish CS:GO roster in the competitive scene, two old-timers, Twista and allu, have come together along with some other players from the region to assemble the following lineup,

  • Tuomas” SADDYX “Louhimaa – Lurker

  • Lasse” ZOREE “Uronen – AWP

  • Tony” Arvid ” Niemelä – Rifler

  • Olli” oopee “Pispanen – Entry Fragger

  • Slava “Twista” Räsänen – Coach

  • Mikko “xartE” Välimaa – Assistant Coach

The news about the lineup was initially broken by Pelaajatwho also obtained additional information about the lineup via an interview with Twista.

According to the 34-year-old experienced CS:GO coach, the team has been assembled with an aim to put a Finnish roster at the top of the world once again. Keeping this in mind, they do not intend to achieve success right away, instead opting for the longer route of identifying problems and overcoming them.

Talking about the roles of each player, Twista emphasizes that there are no exact player-defined roles in CS:GO anymore and that each player can play the any position he wants to, depending on the.

He further explained that having two marksmen gives his team an edge. They can effectively use both allu and ZOREE to AWP when playing CT-sided and if the team is feeling really confident on the T-side as well. Also, if one of them is having an off day, the other can easily pick the sniper and the roles can be swapped.
