FOOTBALL is ringing in the festive cheer with what we hope will be a large-scale show of the English Premier League and EFL matches – but matches are being postponed after Covid tests -19 positive.

18 of the 20 clubs were set to operate on Gift Day before the postponement, with Man Utd visit Newcastle on December 27th.

Three Premier League matches have been postponed, with Liverpool’s game against Leeds, Watford’s trip to Wolves and Burnley vs. Everton being postponed.

Fans will be hoping for more top games not to be postponed due to the increased rates of the highly contagious Omricon variant of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, in an update from the Premier League, they have announced that BT Sport will broadcast the Tottenham vs Crystal Palace match.
