Trevor Bauer is on leave for a week

MLB has not yet made a formal decision on what, if anything, to do with Trevor Bauer.

The MLBPA agreed to extend the pitcher’s administrative leave by seven days beginning March 13, confirmed The Post’s Joel Sherman. Bauer will not report to the Dodgers spring training until at least March 20.

MLB has not spoken to Bauer during the 99-day suspension and will now begin to decide whether a punishment will come. per Sherman.

Bauer, the NL Cy Young 2020 winner, was accused of hitting and choking a woman during sex last year. The prosecutor published vivid photos showing her with black eyes and bruises. Farmer claimed the photos had been edited.

Last month, the District Attorney in the case declined to press charges.

“While this is not the time or place to address every single lie or untruth that this woman or her attorneys have made in court, I want to make a few things very clear.” Bauer said in a YouTube video after it was announced he would not be charged. “I never punched that woman in the face. I never hit her in the vagina. I never scratched her face. I never had anal sex with her or sodomized her in any way. I never attacked them in any way. While we did have consensual rough sex, the disruptive acts and behaviors she described just didn’t occur.”

Bauer has consistently maintained that the two had rough, consensual sex. Trevor Bauer is on leave for a week
