Traffic in Houston: Prepare for a Major Closure at the Southwest Freeway and 610 West Loop
These closures will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, January 29 and run until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31.
Meanwhile, all lanes of I-69 heading south from Edloe Street to the West Loop will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, January 28 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 29.

The Texas Department of Transportation has issued detour advice for motorists in the area:
- Traffic will continue on IH-69 Northbound
- Take the Weslayan Street exit onto Frontage Road northbound IH-69
- Loop back at Weslayan onto IH 69 south of Frontage Road
- Continue onto the next entry onto the main northbound lanes IH-69
- Bring the corresponding connector to 610 north or south direction
