Traffic in Houston: Eastbound lanes of the East Freeway at Mercury are blocked due to major rig crash
The crash, which occurred Monday afternoon on the East Freeway at Mercury, was blocking the left shoulder, the left lane and the center lane. Based on TxDOT, the crew estimated it would take about three hours to clear the scene.
It is not clear if anyone was injured in the collision. The cause of the accident is also unknown at this time.
