Traders Village flea market stallholder who was shot in attempted robbery is expected to be fine, MPs say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A clothing stall owner is expected to survive after he was shot while confronting two men who were trying to steal at a flea market in northwest Harris County, according to deputies.

MPs were called to the shooting at the Traders Village flea market on Eldridge Parkway near West Road on Saturday night.

During the confrontation, deputies said one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the man. The two robbers escaped, but investigators said they reviewed surveillance footage to try to identify them.

The man was taken to hospital in critical condition and was stable as of Monday.
