YOU MAY think that the stuffed animals placed around your local Trader Joe’s are just cute, friendly additions to the store’s decor.
However, it turns out the adorable animals are actually part of the sweet game employees play with customers.
Tip given by @timbosliceoflife12 in an info videotapes he shared online.
“If you’ve been to Trader Joe’s before, you know their staff is super friendly and they have a ton of healthy products you can’t find in other stores,” he says.
“And hidden in these wholesome products, you might find a random stuffed animal.”
Tim went on to explain that the reason the stuffed animals were “hidden” was so customers could find them and return them to Trader Joe’s staff.
“Then the staff will give you a lollipop,” he revealed.
He added that anyone who walks into Trader Joe’s can play, but it is “obviously” geared towards children.
He also said that not all stores participate in the game, but if you find a stuffed animal, you can definitely play.
There are also some people who have shared their involvement in online gaming since early 2009.
The Sun has reached out to Trader Joe’s for comment, but did not receive a response before this article was published.
Trader Joe’s was founded in Pasadena, California in 1967 and has since grown into a beloved grocery chain offering unique items from around the world at affordable prices.
Even better, Trader Joe’s has a “try before you buy” policy. allowing customers to taste any of their products before buying them.
But before you even step into the store, a Trader Joe fanatic has revealed products she thinks are worth it.
