Tonight’s Dancing On Ice finals have been canceled due to football due to a HUGE schedule change

Viewers of DANCING On Ice will be disappointed to learn that they will have to wait to find out the show’s winner as tonight’s grand finale has been postponed.

In a major rescheduling move, ITV have confirmed they are pushing back the final episode of the ice skating competition show by a week due to a clash with a football game tonight.

The channel’s coverage of the FA Cup quarter-final match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool is due to start at 5.15pm and run for at least three hours, meaning it will clash with Dancing on Ice, which normally starts at 6.30pm.

The finale will now take place next Sunday 27th March and to make up for the last minute change, it’s been revealed that fans can look forward to an extra long episode.

In the final episode of the show, all of the remaining celebrity contestants skated twice, and two were sent home.

While viewers voted for Strictly star Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne to advance to the finals, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberley Wyatt battled Olympian Connor Ball and Vamps singer Kye Whyte in the skate-off.

After judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse voted unanimously to save Kimberly, who had the highest score in the episode, Connor and Kye were sent home in a dramatic double elimination.

Meanwhile, presenter Phillip Schofield presented the show solo for the first time after Holly Willoughby was forced to skip it after testing positive for COVID-19 just hours before the show started.

A spokesman for Dancing on Ice said: “Unfortunately, Holly Willoughby is unable to host tonight’s show after testing positive for Covid-19.

“We look forward to Holly returning to the finale of Dancing on Ice Live.”

Holly is believed to be back for the finale as her self-isolation will be over by then.
