Leviev – whose real name is Shimon Hayut – used a dating app to cheat women out of millions of dollars. He is estimated to have stolen $10m (£7.4m) over the years after luring his victims with expensive dates to gain their trust.
Since the stories of his victims are told in Netflix Tinder Scammers, Hayut was voiced on social media and this week joined Cameo, an app where notable personalities can charge fans for personalized video messages.
For £146, fans can get a personal video from Hayut, while he’s charging £1,460 for a professional video for business.
In an example birthday announcement above his profileHayut – whose signature on all of his videos is Leviev – thanks an imaginary client for protecting his girlfriend from “my enemies”, a reference to how he persuades women send me money.
Footage from Hayut’s first Cameo videos began appearing on Twitter, in which Leviev further mentioned his scams.
On one occasion he said: “Jessica, Charlie is running for his enemies [are] after him, so if you can send him some cash. Wishing you a great and magnificent day and happy Valentine’s Day. ”
On Thursday (February 17), two of Hayut’s victims, Cecilie Fjellhøy and Pernilla Sjoholm, said it was “heartbreaking” that Cameo wanted to “collaborate with criminals” by working with him.
